I'm looking at a used Klein Attitude Comp as my first MTB. I haven't done any cycling in 10 years but my kids are starting so I have to get a bike and I have decided on a ~19'' frame HT.

The seller claims it is year 2009 make, but I have my doubts (sounds too good to be true), as well as overall whether this is a good bike for me (good = better than a random GBP 300 new bike from Halfords).

Seller claims bike is in good condition w/ no rust, but front brake pads are worn out.

Seller claims fork is an unspecified Duke and that "frame measures 47cm from the pedal crank to the bottom of the seat stem".

Here are the only pics I have:

Advice?

Stay away or bid?

well the duke was made from 2001 t0 2004ish

frame is older than they say as they stopped maing them in 2007.
