I am riding a frame with horizontal dropouts.
It is running single speed using a magic gear.
Is it safe to file the rear of the drop out a little to tension the chain?

If it's stretched that far it's probably new chain time.
Or remove a link, less drastic.I don't do smileys.

I removed a link and the wheel was right at the front of the dropout.
How far forward can I go?
