Vitus Zenium VR FSA BB30 Headache!
Hi People,
Haven't been on here for a long long time and never in the Road section! Eek!
I Recently received my 1st road bike from CRC
,But after literally only a mile on the bike the BB is creaking and cracking so loud it makes me not want to ride it :evil: . before I go about returning it I mentioned to CRC the problem and they are sending me a new FSA BB30 and will refund the cost of a LBS fitting great but that will be another week with not riding. After a little googling to see if there is a fix I can Do myself I see this make of BB is a nightmare. Has anybody on here had a problem with this and how did you fix? or should i give up on the bike already and return it and go for a bike with a different BB as i cant be dealing with a noisy bike, none of my others are so why should this be! .

Hi I have Cannondale Synapse and it is the same. Regular maintenance and a good torque wrench should sort it. But BB30 is pants. Took me a long time and several sets of bearings to get it where I wantCannondale Synapse 2011
