About to get one of these but unsure of sizing. I'm 5'8 with a 37.5" chest, 33" waist. Any user recommendations as to whether I should go small or medium on this? As ever, looking through various reviews and sizing guides leads to more confusion than clarity, so hoping some users can comment! Cheers in advance...

They come up very small.
I'm 5ft 8, 40 chest and 32 waist. I have a large and I wouldn't want one much smaller (it would be too short in the arms and back). I think you'll be borderline with a medium unless you like the "spray on" look.

I'm 6ft, 43 chest and 34 waist. XL is a good fit for me0

Thanks for the comments. Weirdly an owner who is same size as me has suggested the small would be a good fit. I had also heard that the Hot Pack No Rain Stretch comes up large compared with other Sportful garments. think I'm going to go medium and see how it goes...Titus Silk Road Ti rigid 29er - Scott Solace 10 disc - Kinesis Crosslight Pro6 disc - Scott CR1 SL - Pinnacle Arkose X 650b - Pinnacle Arkose singlespeed - Specialized Singlecross...& an Ernie Ball Musicman Stingray 4 string...0

So after my original post I thought I'd provide an update in case anyone is considering making a similar purchase. The Sportful HOT Pack No-rain stretch jacket (bit of a mouthful  ) arrived today. After trying on I'd say the medium is a great fit for 37-39" chest, up to 33" waist. I'm 5'8" and a bit tall and the front is cut very high, so really needs to be worn with bib tights. Works really well in the riding position though. Not major tight, but well fitted with just enough room for a base layer and long sleeve jersey underneath for winter layering. Arms are a nice length and also nice 'n tight so no flapping.
Looks well made, and packs up small in a stuff sack (easily small enough for a jersey pocket). If as waterproof (and breathable) as claimed, this looks to be my new take everywhere jacket 8) Although black (thought white would show the dirt too quickly!) there are plenty of reflectives for night use. Not particular conspicuous during the day though, so would have to mark it down for that...
Anyway, hope this helps anyone on the brink of purchasing...Titus Silk Road Ti rigid 29er - Scott Solace 10 disc - Kinesis Crosslight Pro6 disc - Scott CR1 SL - Pinnacle Arkose X 650b - Pinnacle Arkose singlespeed - Specialized Singlecross...& an Ernie Ball Musicman Stingray 4 string...0
