turbo skewer

I would like to buy a turbo trainer on eBay but I hear from the seller that the original qr skewer is lost. Dies this matter or will any skewer do? I am going to have a dedicated wheel for the turbo.

    The quick release skewer that comes with the turbo is just some el-cheap shimano style skewer. Depending on your wheels you may not need it, otherwise just get one from the bike shop.
