I recently had a puncture on a very wet day. Ever since I took the quick release wheel off to fix the puncture its been juddering and squealing when I brake. Seems fine in every other respect. It is disc brake too.

Is it possible that this has been caused by doing the quick release up too tight perhaps?

  • I would try cleaning your discs first

I don't think it's that. Just adjusted the tightness of the front wheel as it was very difficult to pull the lever down, now a little bit easier and will take for a spin later.

make sure the wheel is fully seated before doing up the qr, try leaning on the bars to get weight on the wheel then reaching down to do up the qr

contaminated discs/pads can cause all kinds of interesting effects
