It says Fits mono mini and mono m4 brakes, but surely it will fit any caliper which accepts a 180mm disc, SLX for example!?

I would assume it does providing you have the correct calliper adaptor to fit 180mm
As far as I'm aware the only factors that effect disc are;
.The rotor/hub fitting
.The adaptor/rotor size
Have a look on the Hope website0 -
I've got a 180mm on there at the moment, ashima air, but I'm not happy with it. I don't feel it bites well, the 160mm cheapo rear rotor I have seems to give a much better feel. Just been trawling through chain reactions clearance items (which seems to be everything they sell to some extent) saw these And it got me thinking.0

This should work, they say it fits Shimano Saint so I assume it fits SLX0 -

some people have had to file the caliper while others haven't - personally I would just go with the ice-tech rotors rather than hope floating.0 -
I have hope floating rotors with my avid elixir 3 setup. 183mm front 160mm rear. I have not experienced any rubbing or anything with my calipers or fox forks. The brakng force is a little improved. The main benefit is the complete absence of the horrible avid brake sequal i had before. Oh and after a ride, the discs 'ting' as they cool, just like my galfer wavy's used to on my fireblade. Very cool.0
