I am looking at replacing my carrera with a 29er. I've been looking around at what my budget can buy me and have found the following. I've read the info but i'm not really clued up about part manufacturers specs and reliability etc. Or is there something else that may be better for a £600 - £650 budget?
Any info appreciated,,

Any reason you want a 29er? Surely the flavour of the month is 650b isn't it?
Anyway, better than the Cube Analogue is the Acid:

all good looking bikes, i did have a close look at the boardman and thought hmmm.
i'm looking at 29ers as it will be my first ever (proper) new bike and thought it would be a good step up aswell from my carrera.
Are 26" wheels and frames being phased out?I don't know enough to make smart r's remarks about peoples choice of parts 'n' things, yet!0 -
26" will be around for years. 650B is the latest thing, Giant are dropping 29ers next year.
In what way is a 29er a step up?Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350 -
