I want to order a pump for my Trail Sl that I can mount on the seat tube.

On reading various reviews the Lezyne Tech drive HP and Topeak race rocket MT seem to do fairly well in reviews.

I had a look on here and the reviews I have found are a couple of years old and for the road versions so problems may vary slightly from the mtb pumps.

The thread and reviews on wiggle etc mention issues with mounting on both. Some say the Lezyne can rattle and the Topeak ends up beiung mounted upside down if on the seat tube and can allow water and crap to collect in the handle.

Does anyone have recent experience with either of the pumps on an mtb or has even used both?

I would like to hear your views please.

Have got a Lezyne Alloy drive.

If it's any help it's awesome especially when it extends like a light sabre. Particularly impressive when you stop to help a lycra clad lovely fix a puncture. The last thing you want in that situation is a dodgy pump
