what is the tool called for adjusting the pivot bolt on tiagra brakes

    thx I thought it was a special tool as looking at it it looks like an alun key but no alun key fits

    You mean the tubular nut that fixes the caliper to the fork / brake bridge? It is an allen key. You just need the right size. 5 or 6mm I think.

    Might be a star key you need.
