Hi all,

I'm confused! I have been stripping my old bike with a sram gxp English thread bottom bracket and gxp chainset. I'm thinking about putting it onto my winter bike which is a cannondale supersix 2012 with bb30.

This will require an adaptor, but which one! I want to be able to use a gxp bottom bracket so wheelsmith adaptors are not an option.
Is a press fit bb30 adaptor ok?

Or the permenant solution

I'll get my lbs to fit. I'd rather go with the pressfit option but I'm not sure if it will work?

Thanks
Ross

    PF30 adaptor won't fit - it's 46mm dia where BB30 is 42mm - confusing isn't it?
Wheels Mfg do produce a GXP version - simply google it.
You could use something like a Praxis or KCNC Hollowtech 2 converter with a Hope top-hat bush on the non-drive side.
I'd avoid the permanent solution as you may want to switch back to BB30
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
