So I currently have these sidi genius 2 road shoes,

passed on from my dad, and the left shoes the plastic yellow has come off which holes the ratchet on so I can not tighten them up, so I have been looking for more sidi shoes and came to thee two

Now since my bike is red/black I been looking at getting red ones but than I like the blue I have now as it stands out so undecided wether to get yellow or another colour,

  • On looks alone the first one looks the business, the Venice ones are a bit shiny with a coating on them, perhaps it would crack over time, but I'm sure someone will confirm/ deny that.

Those Genius 2s are in fantastic nick, considering they must be around 20 years old.

Yes they where my dads when he was cycling but he stopped but kept his gear and I just got into cycling so he passed them down to me but on the left shoe, the yellow plastic has all come off which holds the ratchet so you can't tighten them up
