Cannot decide between two bikes

Looking at two seemingly identical bikes for the same price. Bike one is a 2013 Cannondale Trail 29er SL 2 and the other is a 2013 Trek Cobia 29er.

Looking at the bikes side by side on Bikepedia, they share almost all of the same components. Since the price point is the same I am here Trolling for advice. Let the facts/experiences/opinions fly.

    Find a shop that will allow you to test ride the bikes, I know Evans do this and I think they stock both bikes.

    On paper they may be very similar spec wise. Frame feel and fit is going to be the deciding factor and unless you find a bunch of decent reviews that indicate one is vastly superior to the other its going to be a case of swing a leg over and see which one feels best.

    Google for test rides or check the trek/Dale websites to see if any shops have test bikes a sensible distance form you - otherwise its convince a shop to let you ride it round the car park a bit...
