I found this on decanthlon but it does not specify weight.
I assume with steel they are heavy but
http://www.decathlon.co.uk/20-cruiser-f ... #avantages
http://www.decathlon.co.uk/20-single-on ... #avantages
Is there any reason why either of the two will not do for a young girl?
I was trying to avoid gears for simplicity and we generally use the bike around the bike etc, so there is not many hills to climb.
thanks

My 6yr old is already being limited due to no gears on his current Islabike Cnoc 16 so I can't say I'd recommend a SS for an older child.
As for Decathlon - it is worth emailing them and asking for the weight as they are usually very helpful. They both look bloody heavy though - in particular the first one.You only need two tools: WD40 and Duck Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the tape.0
