i all,

I’ve signed up to the Cycle to Work scheme and before I could pay the shop for the bike I wanted they sold the last one in my size (Felt F95 – Monster Green).
I’ve spent all morning looking for the bike by cross referencing the Felt suppliers list with the cyclescheme partner shops and it’s come up blank, everyone has sold out.

My question is this, I now have £600 (give/take £60 absolute max) for a new road bike. Does anyone have any suggestions what might be worth taking a look at?

I want carbon forks and race geometry, and I don’t want SS/Fixed. Basically similar to the F95.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks

  • They have some good deals on the Cannondale Caad8 in Evans at the moment.

Racy geometry and very good alu frame.

With a lot of the 2013 bikes now in the sale you should be able to pick something up in that price range.

i would maybe find a local bike shop that is partnered on your C2W scheme and have a chat with them to see what they have left in your size from the 2013 models

Thanks for the reply. Seems like a good option to me! I'll stick it on my comparison list :)

Ribble have been suggested to me. I know nothing of these guys being a noob to road bikes. Can anyone tell me if the 7005 sportive deal in the home page is a good one?

    Are they a solid brand?
