Cake/cafe stop in Usk

    I've stopped in pub on the main square for coffee and a tea cake few times and very nice. They said they have big cycling groups over from Bristol regularly.

    Garden centre just outside Usk on the road to Caerleon is probably the best bet but you get a lot of cyclists stopping at La Cantina on Bridge Street. The only problem there is the lack of space for leaving bikes without blocking the narrow footways. The Castle Inn in Twyn Square will quite often have a few cyclists outside as well. There's also a little cafe with a garden just off Bridge Street by the Spar.
