Morning Losers!

It's been a windy night and seems to be the same this morning here in the Hudd. The house is pretty chilly, but I'm refusing to use heating until October!

Today, I need to hand the shortlisted applications back to HR, who will then send out letters. Fun times. Once I've got DeployStudio working, I'm going home, so hopefully that's sooner than later!

Laters!

    M'eh, window lickers

Todays work appears to be largely safety documentation and bid writing. Much rather just be melting metal.

    Onwards.

    M'eh.

    Morning,

Working at 4pm so naturally have to be in for a conference call at 9am as it is my new boss' first proper day.

All being well (not holding too much hope,) lbs will be able to get my bike sorted today so I can ride Wednesday.

    Morning bumders

Brilliant riding straight out the front door here, had a good couple of hours mucking about yesterday. Today off with the cousin and his fiancee to Grizedale as he's not brought his bike with him and needs to hire one, and she's agreed to hire one on the condition that he does Go Ape (which will be fucking hilarious as he's terrified of heights).

Had to move my uplift day at the bike park to October due to being unable to ride.

  • Morning. Life is long, families are strenuous and work is tedious. But hey, atleast we've got good old fashioned reliable intoxicants.

Well that was an unfun weekend of Wedmin. There is a spelling mistake in the order of service and Bridezillas hairdresser has dyed a nice thick brown streak into her hair. I also got told off for having dark silver shellac nail polish put on my toes. Brother in law came home on the weekend to help with prettifying stuff for the wedding, and basically just sat himself in front of the tv watching football and cricket. If he were mine I would have ditched him by now for whinging about how much stuff there is to do and then not helping to do it. I am now starting a week of raindances ready for Saturday.

I saw the spreadsheet of my allocated time Thursday and Friday and basically both of my days are packed with boring frilly stuff. All this is more firmly making the argument for no wedding in my future. Why do that when I can spend all that money on a holiday instead!? Far more fun.

Work are insistent on booking meetings for me to attend for the next two days so I'm basically looking forward to 12 hour days over the next two days. FML at the moment.

    Evening All

I'm going to London later today as The English National Opera have a problem with their building. Oh well let's go fixing.
But the main point of this is there anyone who fancies a cheeky couple of pints over the next couple of days whilst I'm there? PM if interested.

    otherwise not much else happening
I'm going to blow the bank on a new build ( within reason ) NOW DONE!!

    Evening Twunts,

Home early to look after junior while wifey goes out and enjoys herself, so the remote is all mine. It's bloody hot down here in London, thought summer was meant to be over on the weekend? Anyhow, I've got some Strongbow Dark fruit with my name on it :)

Carry on 'round to Rock and pay Nathan Outlaw a visit - a much, much better chef IMO.

I like your style MissCMC, a damn shame there is not more women like you. Must admit that a big wedding is my idea of hell, all that money and stress for one day  . You could have a nice wedding and do it in style with say a month in Canada visiting the bike parks with some shiny new bikes. A quick stop over in Vegas and job done.

On a related note I got asked to be best man at my mates wedding which I have to be honest scares the bejebus out of me, not exactly sure what goes into being a best man but I know you have to make a speech  . Sounds like a shitty thing to say but I havn't said yes yet.

If the only thing that you're worried about is the speech, then don't be. It doesn't have to be long, you've got PLENTY of time to think about it, and there are loads of online support to help you with writing the formal part (who you should thank for being there etc.). But seriously, they don't have to be long, and with the formal bit out of the way, you've usually wasted 3/4 minutes. Trust me, everyone will love you if you then only go on for another 60 seconds!
