36t chainring for Centaur carbon chainset - BCD query

I'm looking at changing a 34t chainring to a 36t one on a Campag Centaur carbon compact chainset, and want to make absolutely sure I'm buying a 36t ring which will fit.

I've read a couple of old threads on other forums which say that a 110 BCD ring won't definitely fit a carbon crank, that the bolts are offset by 2mm or so, when compared to alloy ones?

Does anyone have any experience of making this change, or know of a replacement 36t ring which is guaranteed to fit a carbon compact crank?

Many thanks in advance

  • TA make a nerius chainring which will fit.
Campagnolo use a strange bolt pattern whereby the 4 standard bolts will fit fine however the crank bolt behind the chainring is offset.
go to chickencycles.co.uk for all the options then find them online cheaper would be my suggestion.
