Looking for a mtb friendly pub around the quantocks. Down that way the week after next and will be looking for a post ride pint. Any recommendations?

Plough was pretty rubbish, the food mediocre, wasn't cheap and slow service even when quiet. Blue Ball or Carew Arms are better IME - ride down to Crowcombe is good, ride back up depends on conditions

The Hood in Kilve is nice- also if your driving home there is a great pub just outside of Cannington called the Malt Shovel. Turn right just before the Cannington by pass and its up there.

I like the pubs in Nether Stowey too but they can be a little 'local'.

Well went to the Plough in Holford. Nice pint of Doombar and a sausage and onion baguette
