I'm looking into the frame stickers at the moment.
It is indeed, I used to be. Used to restore vintage aircraft (spits, hurricanes and did a lot of stuff for the bbmf lanc). Work in the water industry now though.0 -
Day light photos with phone camera. New wheels and bender fender on the front.

Oh how very tempting.... Pm me
Orange decals on the way too0 -
I got them through DNFIVE, much cheaper than anywhere else for the couple i wanted.
Had a good morning at Sherwood Pines again, although they have shut a couple of sections of the kitchener trail (the best sections too) & the racing ralph evo' have made a huge improvement to the ride!
Sorry for the naff photo which makes the stickers look a bit more luminous than they actually are.

Bargain :shock:0 -
I've got the older shape FSR xc
Just a frame at the moment that i was going to build up but after seeing this i might get the frame stripped & powder coated. I always thought powder coating would go on too thick and you'd never get bearing in, brake mounts on etc...0 -

A good powder coater should mask up any bearing mountings and put bolts in any threaded holes.
The previous owner had this coated.0 -

You wont if they don't mask the appropriate areas properly - never use an industrial coater, only specialists. Run a tap through any threads before rebuilding, even if they've been masked (and you'll probably need to face the BB shell if you have an external BB)..0 -
Got all of the parts for my 1x9 conversion.
