Currently watching the Grand Prix de Plouay in Brittany.

Glorious weather, plenty of big names, Contador, Riblon, Vichot, Schleck (although he has now abandoned), etc.

I did the amateur race on Friday, and it's a great spot for cycling.

20km to go Devenyns from OPQS in front.

  • Great race. 80+kms on Eurosport International.
France 3 as well. Numerous feeds, zero interest again.
No Vuelta stage 9 thread at all on it's on Eurosport, now.
Don't know what is going on around here, these days.

Pippo's just made Bettini's job a bit harder. I think he was quite happy to leave him out of the squad, but looks like there'll be one more ego in the team to accommodate

Watched the last 15-16 km, good try by Avermaet but thought Pozzato was really clever those last 100 m or so (the overhead showed it well) as well as very strong, and so deserved the win. Nizzolo probably thought he had it 5 m out.

Pozzato. "It was a very hard sprint. At first I was somewhat boxed in but then I found a gap and could really push it”.
