Can you replace the blade without bleeding the brakes?
Ive got the sram manual and it states to empty the brake fluid first, anyone done this without emptying the fluid? basically ive bent the blade, brake operation is all fine, just wanted to swap the blade over.
Or can i as the manual states, unscrew the reach lever, pop the this piece out, pop the lever into the remove position and then pull out and pop the new one in??
Thanks!

No need to bleed brake - but you will need to get the lever pivot out after removing the reach adjust. There is an Avid tool for this purpose.0
