I prefer my hope to shimano. modulation is far better.0 -
Nar ..... Had hope over the last umpteen years and last two bikes have had avids and I've had a t1t full of em so going back to hope , never been a fan of shimano tbh
Hopefully the new whyte frame will arrive about the same time for the build up0 -

Shimano are now IMHO the go to brake. Sooo much better than other options.0 -
I've had xt and found em ok but prefer hope IMHO of course , robust sods too0

Hope or Shimano brakes are the best, either will be great and 2,000 times better than avids0

Indeed , while I love and always use a mix of xt / xtr drivetrain I don't use their brakes or hubs , horses for courses and a personnel thing . I've used xt hubs etc and they were pants so I run hope hubs and they work for me . What works for me may not work for anyone else but then I'm not really bothered about converting anyone else ! I also love my kipper tie and paisley shirt and flares too but they may not be everyone's cup of tea0

Depends, I don't like the vague feeling you get because of the servo wave.0
