I use Manitou Minute MRD with the Absoluter plus damper - are very good. For that money you will be hard pressed to find a lighter fork.0

am i right in thinking the only diffrence in the marvel and minute fork is the axel options. do you think this fork would work well doing the red routes round a trail center the only reason i ask is i am new to this and have no trail center experience and want to upgrage my bike so i can. i have shitty suntours and i know this is one upgrade ill need to do.0 -
They aren't the stiffest of fork, and are more XC based, but will be a massive upgrade to what you have.0

am i looking at the wrong fork then, i will meanly be doing xc riding but do want to experience a trail center and i was hoping in the long run i could move them accross to a full suss if i take the sport up to the next level.0

is that the fork you would recommend or you just pointing out there is another fork that weights similer for the same cost?0

You have an xc bike so I'd stick with a fork like this.0

The latter, although it's a decent performer for the money, also it might be a bit stiffer than the manitou.
Just offering options!0 -
wife and brother in law both have the 100 marvel pro on their hardtails - its a pretty impressive fork, highly recommended. Don't think you'll get a better fork for the money. its about 1550 grams with a cut steerer0

What type of riding dose your brother in law do?.
think I'm going to buy this fork now just got to choose 100mm or 120mm travel option.
thanks for all your inputs guys.0
