I'm trying to get a Shimano cassette off but it sems so tight the chain whip slips, as the cassette is toast im not too worried about damaging it, but wheel and free hub I need to keep.
What torque should it be?
Having a bad bike week!!

No torque. Make sure the chainwhip is round the top cog with as much chain as possible in contact with teeth.0

Thanks
The Shimano blurb says between 30 - 50 Nm, so 40 sounds good
