When do the bike sales usually start?

I have been looking at getting a new bike and wasn't sure if the big sales are end of Summer or January

    Provided you want an XS or and XL of course.

    6'2'' might stretch to a XL but certain I'd look pretty stupid on an XS

    Evans cycles have started their clearance reductions, so i'd say now's your time before the common/popular sizes run out. TBH though, unless your spending £600+, you don't really get much discount.

    Pop to your local Giant dealer... most 2013's are now reduced by 20%.
    The Propel Advanced SL is looking nice with £900 off the ticket price!

    Indeed. I popped into my local Giant dealer the other day and he had a Defy Composite 1 in stock in my size (medium) on which he offered me a 20% discount. He doesn't have it any more! :D
