Expensive I know, however, love my Assos shorts, best kit I have bought, so thinking these will be good also?

I have the previous version - not sure if there is much difference. They are fine for chilly autumn/ spring rides but, for me, I need to combine them with a pair of liner gloves when temperatures dip around 5 celsius or below. That isn't a problem for me as it makes them useable throughout the non-summer months.
