One bike, two pedals..?

OK, so I bought The Boss a pair of those ridiculously cheap Fizik R3s to match her red bike and to partially assuage my guilt at spending lots on the CR1. Her current road / commuting shoes have SPD cleats (recessed into the sole for ease of walking), these Fiziks take SPD-SLs: does anyone know of a double-sided pedal that caters for both types? I've had a quick scan of the usual websites and can see touring pedals that are flat on one side and have an SPD fixing on the other but nothing with two different cleat attachments.

If such a pedal does not exist then does anyone have any nifty solutions other than regular pedal changes or buying her another bike for non-commuting?

There is no SPD/SPD-SL pedal. Sort of misses the point of both systems, really.

So you and she have to decide if she's going to go fully SPD-SL or stick with SPD.
