    huh?
  • I'm struggling to see what's wrong with the advert. Either the fact he missed an 'N' on the 'Fun seat' is the problem, or it's something that needs real sharp eyes that I really could give a flying fark about.
It takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.

shite advert, probably stolen, random collection of parts, odd unknown frame, possibly a seven speed, road rear mech, rear wheel doesnt look like a mavic at all and 350 quid.

All in all utter shite, thought it typified gumtree quite well.

I doubt it's stolen - why would a bike thief be interested in trades, surely they just want the cash.

350 is about right. I paid £1300 brand new for my bike, not including the wheels. I'd be lucky to get more than £250 for it these days. I also saw nowt wrong with the advert. It's not your bike is it?

a poor mans ebay, full of useless tat or stolen stuff
  • shite advert,
I'm sure he apologises it's not up to your standards
    probably stolen,
    I think you're stolen
    random collection of parts,
    You should see my Blender!
    odd unknown frame,
You should see my old pub bike!
    possibly a seven speed,
    Is this a sin now?
    road rear mech,
How can you tell, the flash is so bright I can't see much!
rear wheel doesnt look like a mavic at all
The fact he knows what a mavic wheel is suggests he's not a thief
    and 350 quid.
Isn't a ridiculous amount to ask for
All in all utter shite, thought it typified gumtree quite well.
I've seen far, FAR worse on Gumtree. I'd say this is a terrible way of typifying the website.

rear wheel doesnt look like a mavic at.

    .

he's taken a pic of the wheel where it says mavic

do you think a thief would steal a sticker off another bike to make his wheels look better?

I've come to the conclusion that you were the original owner who put it up for sale and got shafted and didn't get the amount asked for, saw it being resold for a profit
