Racks - Tubus v Tortec

Hi guys,

I am preparing my Kinesis T2 for life as a commuter bike for the next year or so and am in need of a rack. I'm basically considering 2 - the Tortec Ultralite and the Tubus Vega.

The Tubus is 3x the price of the Tortec, but has anyone experience with both? Is the Tubus worth the extra in terms of quality and ease of installation for example?

Would be great to gather your thoughts.

Tubus make great racks, but they're overkill for anything but fully loaded touring with heavy luggage. If it were me I'd buy the Tortec one.
