Replace crankset with bottom bracket

Hi I am replacing some pretty well worn Shimano integrated bottom brackets, they have done probably nearly 6, 7000 miles and the play on the cranks is pretty significant. Would there be any reasons to replace the cranks as well if the teeth aren't worn? I.e. would having ridden for a fair while with worn cups have worn the spindle of the cranks as well?
