Lost dustcover on front hub

Hey hey,
On a recent trip to Iceland, the misses managed to loose the dust cover that keeps the bearings concealed.
The wheels were Alex rims (standard spec on a Spesh Allez).
Does anyone have nay suggestion as to where to get parts? Been to a few bike shops and it seems it's not something that they're likely to have and seemed amazed we managed to loose it!
