Yes it was wasn't it. What was that Tour of California stage where he went up the hill like a rocket.
He didn't even seem that tired at the end of the climb yesterday. Maybe he eased back when he knew he'd got it.

I always think back to him and Leipheimer one-twoeing it up Mt Baldy a few years ago. Looked very dodgy, although I guess it was "only" ToC. Yesterday's performance was pretty impressive for a 41 year old, regardless of what fuelled it.

Yeah, that ToC stage up Mt Baldy was shameful (no dope testing at that tour, iirc). Then we had Mustafa Sayar in the Tour of Turkey doing the same thing this year. And now Horner rides away from a hugely talented and young Vuelta peloton to win the stage and take the leaders jersey. Pff!
  • Errrrrm, there doesn't seem to be a Stage 4 Spoliers thread?

Are we all too awestruck by Chris Horner's stage win?

Have we all lost the 'love'?
    'fool'

Logan's Run innit. Not right to have cycling heroes past 30 when the young ones are coming through eh?

I like to see the old guys do well as it makes me feel young and shows that it isn't game over past 25 years old.
