Hi can anyone help me ive just bought a felt ar2 and living in north wales where im climbing
Hills a lot can I change my 53/39 down to 53/34 or is this to big a jump thanks

    Just swap it over , plenty of video on you tube showing you how. It's a 5 minute job

    Will the derailleur handle the bigger step down

    Assuming you have a standard 130bcd double, it will not acommodate a 34 inner. If you want a 34, you will have to switch to a 110bcd chainset.

    Yep, 38t is the smallest you can go if I remember right. A new cassette with a 28t or 30t sprocket would be the cheaper and easier option unless you've got one on there already.
