This is part of a 6 or 7km series of climbs up from Afantou to Psinthos on the island of Rhodes. The trip down the otherside is about 16km long and zig zags down the side of the valley back to the beach. Unfortunately my Camera battery packed up after taking this picture.
The road goes up round the headland in the middle of the picture climing up to the top (skyline about 40% in from the left)

Rubbish phone photo unfortunately, but the road runs between the red and the light yellow tulips. For 2 weeks of the year it's the most amazing place I ve cycled. It smells just as you'd imagine it would

Pa Raver on the Col de Soulor - on the way up to the classic road up the Aubisque but much quieter

Thanks for those - whetting my appetite even further for a big ride I have up there in July with Durness as the turning point. Can't wait - everything I have looked at on Streetview etc. just looks so beautiful.0
