I'm doing the c2c (whiteaven to sunderland)in a few weeks on my cyclocross bike and currently have continental cyclocross race tyres fitted and wondered if it was advisable to change these for a tyre with less rolling resistance. I wil be keeping off road as much as possible and doing it in a day. Thanks ovi.

I did the c2c on a set of these:

Low rolling resistance and grippy sides0 -
Nice one and looks like they will be good for winter training too for when I mix it up a bit.0

Depends on the offroad, but if it's mud free, then my money would be on touring tyres. I do about 15 miles a day on an off road canal path on Vittoria Randonneur PRO and they are awesome... don't do mud well thoughleft the forum March 20230

If not too much mud you may be good with Conti 4 seasons, I run 28mm ones on my CX, good for road, canal and forest/farm tracks, but not so good for mud.
