Agreed a sale for some 9 speed Ultegra shifters. Nice enough bloke to communicate with. Sent payment via paypal goods/services and it sent it as an echeque and gave 5 days to clear. Pain in the A! Carl said no worries and would send once cleared. It cleared and was immediately refunded by him, and I've heard not a sausage. I'm guessing one of two things, he's either decided not to sell because he wants to get a higher price somewhere else or he couldn't scam me because I paid goods/service. Not really bothered because I haven't lost anything but I was in contact with the guy who bought a wheel on the same post and he backed out of that deal as well!

Nothing majorly sinister there folks but I'd suggest if you want to buy something from him you should expect to get your money back and no goods at the end of it. Also don't pay gift!
