removing / refixing press fit BB30 cups?
I've started to get intermittent clacking noises from my carbon bike which I think are from the bottom bracket area (although you can never tell with 100% certainty...). I assume it's the BB cups, which are press-fit BB30 Campagnolo adaptors for ultra-torque. I had them pre-fitted by the frame supplier when I bought the frame a couple of years ago, and I think loctite has been used (noticed some red residue when I first got the frame).
I assume I need to remove the cups and refit them with fresh loctite. How would I go about doing this...? There is no obvious way to pry the things out without potentially damaging something... Is there a solvent that might help?

Possibly: http://www.parktool.com/product/pressfi ... t-bbt-90-3
May require considerable force. You might be able to improvise some kind of drift arrangement but you'll want to apply force as evenly as possible.
Worth also checking if you have any lateral play in your UT cranks as that could be a source of clicking. This can occur if the BB shell is very slightly narrow.0 -

Not really. That's designed for removing BB30 bearings specifically, not (adaptor) bearing cups like the OP has.
Without knowing the specific internal diameters off the top of my head it's hard to sure though.0 -
Thanks for the tips, they got me onto the Park Tool website where I eventually found the appropriate instructions:

The instructions for removing the campag cups are near the bottom, under Figure 15. Seems that the tool required is this one:

And then I'll probably need one of these to fit them in again:
