if you want to go on dirt tracks then consider something with a bit more tread than the tyres you have

Cheers but I already got heavy dirt knob ones: I want road mainly and a bit of dirt
The ones you posted look cool. Never heard of them brands though. So there better then the ones I posted in the links then?0 -
Ask in the commuting forum if you want road/cycle path tyres.
Otherwise its all about Continental Rubber Queens in black chilli compound if you want mountain bike tyres.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350 -

Ah, sorry. Ahem.
What were you saying?
LOL. I mean standard ‘knobbly’ :P0 -
Schwalbe city jets are the go to budget tyre for on road, they have a thick enough tread/carcass to work fine on anything off road with a hard surface (so not loose gravel type).Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

they are on the wife's bike when she is riding round the block, they are a lot better than the conti X-king she has for the local trails on tarmac.0 -

Cool. I think I might go for the Continental Travel Contact City MTB Tyre reflex or the Continental Double Fighter II Reflex Mountain Bike Tyre0
