Radon replacement fork

Stacked the bike at the beginning of August and snapped the forks, have been in touch with Radon and they have said they can't source replacement forks as it's '"OEM means "Original Equipment Manufacturer" - this parts cannot be bought separately, they are only produced to build complete bikes."
OK it's a 2013 bike, it was cheap as chips really but is it normal that these companies can't provide replacements for key parts?

Yes, especially at that price point. Any reason you can't just use a different fork?English Cycles V3 | Cervelo P5 | Cervelo T4 | Trek Domane Koppenberg0

I will but I just wanted to have a Victor Meldrew esq moan and ask if that's the norm.
But they have more expensive bikes so should I assume that if I bought one of their other bikes I could find myself in the same situation, should you not buy bikes that are 'OEM' frame and forks?0 -
I've never even heard of Radon until this thread. They appear to be Chinese open-mould frames in which case I would highly doubt they would stock a lot of replacement parts as it would cost them more than to just replace the full frameset from a warranty perspective. You'll find this to be pretty much the case across the board until you go with a reputable brand.English Cycles V3 | Cervelo P5 | Cervelo T4 | Trek Domane Koppenberg0
