Anyone seen anything like this before?
I know a lot of you use Nics with no problems but does this look like the tyre failing of its own accord?
Gash was about 5mm from the rim when inflated and is around 6-7 inches long, clean cut and symmetrical.
Have emailed bike-discount.de to see what they reckon, hopefully get a replacement but I doubt it.
I have more pictures if needed.

There is nothing that is anywhere near rubbing in that area even if the tyre was moving during cornering. Have put a different tyre on so will see how that goes for now. Maybe something to do with the Stans rims being so tight?0
