So it's sadly coming to that time of year again when one has to think about evening rides and lighting the road in front. This time last year I made the mistake of spending about £60 on a set of Cateyes with the front doing about the same job on the Cheshire lanes as me pinning my eyes open and reflecting moonlight off them.
So my question is this, what in the minefield of front lights is decent enough to light pitch black roads with a budget of around £100?
