Does this actually exist? If it did, I'd buy it.

I am pretty traditional. A nice Lincolnshire or Cumberland for me.
But I can be adventurous. For instance, I have just tried a pork and black pudding pie. Probably not available in Portugal.

This being nice and posting the banal is really uplifting. Thank you VTech for the suggestion. :D

A good Cumberland, but I'm quite fond to Lincolnshire too.

  • Any sausage from a good butchers, farm shop or farmers market

This is where we buy our meat...

Hate those cheap nasty supermarket sausages, full of totally smashed up beaten the hell out of "meat".

    This ^^

Always buy butchers sausages. The amount of crap that comes out of cheap supermarket sausages during cooking is disgusting.

Powter's Newmarket sausage. Or failing that, Musk's Newmarket sausage. We keep trying others, but keep coming back to these. Both now have EU Protected Geographical Indicator status. And despite the local abundance of horsemeat, they are made from pork!

If buying in a supermarket I check the label for actual pork content and tend not to buy anything less than 85%, the ones I buy the most are the Black Farmer label, think they have 90% pork. I'd rather not eat meat at all than cheap sausages and bacon filled with water is a bugbear of mine too.

    ^^^^ What he said.

If you pay crap sausage price, you get crap sausage. The supermarkets do really good ones, you just have to pay a bit more.

The older I get, the better I was.
