    How do you start and stop pedaling that thing without severe grazing to half of your body?

    Or is your son there to launch and catch you?

    The start of riding by this recumbent bicycle essentially differs nothing from start by regular vertical bicycle. The stop is even simpler - to lower enough down one or both feet on asphalt.
