Squeal from rear ?wheel? Or maybe disc?

I've just taken delivery of my Planet-X XLS which came with a pretty cheap set of wheels.
What I've noticed is under heavy load (climbing out of the saddle on the very steep stuff that I'm getting a squeal from rear of the bike, which I think is coming from the rear wheel bearings.
Not the wheels are not great, but they are new. Hubs are Shimano Deore - which although cheap - I believe are supposed to be reasonably solid. I'm assuming that this isn't right? Anyone serviced a Deore hub?
What's not idea is that I'm off on holidays with the bike on Wednesday (although it's not a cycling holiday), so a little worried that it's going to give up completely.
What's odd is that there doesn't appear to be any play in the bearings? The only other thing I can think it could be is the disc brake, so as the hub is being twisted under heavy load, it's also causing the disc to twist. The squeal does sound like the usual wheel bearing squeal, but maybe it's just the disc?
Anyone with disc brakes heard a similar squeal under load? Or are are Deore hubs really (really) poor?

Thanks for the reply... No, although I've had that on my road bike before.
I'm running 28mm on the crosser so there is a huge amount of clearance. Although the wheel isn't perfectly true, (for a cheap wheel) does appear to have reasonable spoke tension.Simon0 -
Check if the hub has a rubber dust seal on it - if it does these sometimes squeal as the wheel rotates. Bit of silicone lube usually fettles it0

Yep, I was just going to suggest the same thing.0
