I need a simple turn by turn GPS that will run off batteries and from an external source for a long distance ride.Looked at Dakota and Legends etc as I can't ru to the 800/810.Was also looking to add a dyno hub later .Any recommendations
Whats the solution? Just pedal faster you baby.

Hi
I use a Garmin forerunner 305, create a map on Bikehike and upload it (I can provide further instructions). It is a basic line however it follows the road in front so if approaching a right turn for example the watch would show what looks like an upside down L if that makes sense? I've cycled and ran routes all day following it and has saved me hundreds on a top end garmin navigation device!0 -
