Hi folks,

Has anybody got any recommendations for a 29er race/trail hardtail bike up to about £2-2.5k?

I am looking at a Focus Raven 29r 3.0/4.0 with discounts and also a Canyon CF SLX 29 at standard price but am open to other options...

Any experiences or mega deals??

Cheers,

Sam

i ve the Canyon CF SLX 29 er and its a great bike, very racy but i find it very forgiving and great fun to ride at the same time, with the equipment spec, its a bargain too, Canyon UK couldnt have been more helpful and the build from the box was incredibly easy, everything just works.

Hi mamba80, what riding experience do you have on it? XC racing, enduro racing, MTB sportives, trail riding? What is the handling like on twisty stuff, fast or sketchy descents? Is it a good climber? Out of interest what drew you to a 29" hardtail and what height are you/size is the bike? Any information you can give your experiences is much appreciated! :)

Vitus Rapide 29. Decent kit and a good price at the moment. I use mine for XC racing.
