£1000 to spend on a second hand full Sus, what to get??

Hi all, I had my Scott genius stole this week from work, gutted isn't the word. Made worse by the fact that it doesn't look like work are going to pay up and by the fact I'd only had the bike 3 weeks!!! The bike was worth £3500 new but I paid £1k for it second hand, looking to get another second hand full Sus and was wondering what sort of bikes you'd recommend, would love another Scott but struggling to find one at the spec mine was, carbon fibre, full rear lock out, and I'd just forked out £80 to have new brake cables fitted! Any ideas peeps?? Thanks

As a matter of interest, why should your employers pay for it.

With no info about where you ride, your weight and riding style etc, i would reccomend a giant trance or lapierre zesty.
