New (comfy) saddle recommendations

So I bought a carbon fizik tundra for my giant. Got it bcos the top of the range ones have them so thought it would be good, and the one that came with my bike looked terrible. But it's literally a massive pain in the arse. 25 mile ride yesterday I could hardly sit down on the way home and I wear padded shorts.

So I need recommendations for a light weight comfortable saddle please.

Thanks

    One that fits your bum.
    Was the original saddle comfortable?

Despite me being a slim guy - I have wide sit bones - I always had trouble with saddles, probably because I was buying slimmer ones - much better now I have a wider one (a specialised avatar - nothing overly special but at least its comfortable now!!). Try and find a bike shop that has a sizing device (which is usually a memory foam strip with a ruler next to it! - or alternatively find something along the lines of a memory foam pillow or something you can sit on where it will leave an imprint for a few moments and measure the distance between the two dents - this should give you a good idea of what saddle width you should look for and then you can pick one out that looks good. I'm a convert to spesh at the moment as they helpfully give an idea of how much padding each saddle has and they have a good range of sizes.

    ^^That.
There's a strong chance your arris is not the same shape as mine, so why would it be in any way helpful for me to suggest a saddle?

Yeah I did think this when I posted, but thought maybe there was something everyone would say is amazing. Will have a word at the lbs like Tom said.

Simple choice is between being comfortable and being a tart.
