Bikely - returning along same route

I've been trying to map a route on Bikely for a couple of days and have hit the same problem several times.
I'm trying to draw a route which goes out to a place I'll call point A, does a loop around a circuit and back to point A, then returns along the same roads to the start. Once I get the map drawn around the loop, back to point A and start returning home the software seizes up. After a couple of efforts at mapping a km or so of the return route it simply freezes then wipes the map and goes back to the start page.
Any suggestions?
